Andreas Beerli is a senior scientist at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zurich. He is also affiliated with the Immigration Policy Lab at ETH Zurich.
His research interests are labor economics, migration, and criminal justice. He studies, for instance, the effect of immigration restrictions on the labor market, ways to improve the integration of immigrants into the labor market and society, and the impact of different criminal justice institutions on behavior.
He holds a Master of Science in Economic Geography and a PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich.
