A powerhouse team drives IZA's groundbreaking research and extensive global reach. Meet the exceptional minds behind it all: researchers, service staff, associated members, visiting scholars, and our esteemed alumni.
Research Team
Our dynamic research team – a blend of postdocs, permanent researchers, and visiting scholars – fosters a collaborative environment. We work closely with our international network and the University of Bonn. Together, we delve into the critical role of labor markets and how psychological factors influence economic inequality.
IZA's professional service units meet all the needs of a modern research institute. Alongside support in organization, communication, IT and administration, we also deal with all aspects of scientific management, publications, and event management.
Our associated members maintain close ties to IZA that extend beyond network membership. They comprise senior scholars with management tasks within the IZA network, as well as researchers who collaborate with us on specific projects.
Throughout the year, we invite international scholars from in and outside our network to interact with our local team and contribute to our dynamic research environment.
An integral part of our research activities is to prepare excellent young scholars for their future academic career. Many of our former researchers have now moved on to positions at prestigious universities.
