Tomás Rau received his PhD from the University of California Berkeley in 2007 and is currently Full Professor and the Chair of the Department of Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
His research focuses on Econometrics, Labor and Development Economics with public policy evaluation as a unifying research theme.
Tomás Rau joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2020.
