Christian Raschke is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Sam Houston State University. His research focuses on topics in health economics, labor economics, and public policy. In particular, his current work investigates economic determinants of health behaviors of parents and their impact on children’s health and well-being.

His additional research interests include poverty issues in developed countries and the economics of time use.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in August 2012 and became a Research Fellow in July 2014.
