Dr. Changzoo Song is a Senior Lecturer in Asian Studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He did his PhD in political science at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa as an East-West Center Graduate Fellow. Before joining the University of Auckland in 2002, Dr. Song worked in Latvia and Ukraine. His research interests include ethnic nationalism in Korea, Korean diaspora and their identity changes and cultural impacts, and government policies on overseas nationals. His works are published both in English and Korean.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in January 2013.
