Sven Kleinert schloss sein Studium in Wirtschaftsrecht an der Rheinischen Fachhochschule Köln im Jahr 2008 mit einem Diplom ab. Im Jahr 2010 erhielt er zudem einen LL.M in International Economic Law von der University of Kent's Brussels School of International Studies.
Seit März 2011 ist Sven Kleinert am IZA tätig. Als Senior Manager for Project Administration and Legal Affairs ist er für allgemeines Projektmanagement sowie rechtliche und vertragliche Themen zuständig.
Sven Kleinert ist außerdem der Senior Administrator des IZA/FCDO G²LM|LIC Programms.
