With over 2,000 Research Fellows and Affiliates spanning more than 450 research institutions worldwide, IZA boasts the largest global network dedicated to labor economics.
Research Fellows
Renowned economists from across the globe fuel our research by contributing their expertise through publications and participation in projects and events. The collaboration is mutually beneficial – while IZA gains from this vast pool of knowledge, we empower our network with a dynamic platform for research communication, secure remote data access, and prestigious publication opportunities.
The IZA Network Advisory Panel advises us on all network-related activities. Its members represent a range of diverse viewpoints and constituencies, including a mix of different seniorities within the profession.
Our diverse network transcends borders and careers. We welcome brilliant minds from postdocs to Nobel laureates, all united by their excellent research in labor economics and related fields. To uphold our rigorous academic standards, membership requires nomination by two current IZA Fellows followed by a thorough evaluation coordinated by our Network Advisory Panel.
