Arezou Zaresani is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Sydney. Arezou is also a Research Affiliate at the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute (TTPI) at the Australian National University. Arezou has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Calgary and an MA in Economics from the Simon Fraser University. Arezou is an empirical microeconomist with interest in Public, Labor and Health economics. Her research involves design-based analysis where she exploits quasi-experimental variations to study economic questions of interest.

Arezou Zaresani joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in February 2019.
