Corey White is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. White’s research contributes to three subject areas: health and the environment, health externalities, and access to health care. His research has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.

His research on health and the environment primarily concerns the effects of exposure to extreme temperatures on human health, and the expected consequences of climate change. A recent project studies whether better access to health care can mitigate temperature-related health impacts. In one of his projects on health externalities, White’s research has aimed to measure the social and externality benefits of influenza vaccination.
