Daniel L. Millimet

Daniel Millimet is the Dedman Trustee Professor of Economics at Southern Methodist University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University in 1999 and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1994.

His research centers on microeconometrics, with applications predominantly in environmental and labor economics. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Review of Economics & Statistics, Economic Journal, and International Economic Review.

His current research includes projects on microeconometric methods related to measurement error and causal inference.

He currently serves as a senior co-editor of Advances in Econometrics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in July 2008.
