Guy Lacroix is a full professor of economics at Université Laval, located in Quebec City, Canada.

He holds a PhD in economics from Laval University and completed postdoctoral studies at Princeton University. He is also a Fellow of CIRANO (Center for Interuniversity Research and ANalysis on Organizations).

He specializes in labour economics, health econmics and applied econometrics. Recently, he has published papers in the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Econometrics, the Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics and the Journal of Population Economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2005.
