Daniel Kopp is a postdoctoral researcher at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zurich. He is also an affiliate of the Immigration Policy Lab at ETH.
He received a PhD from ETH Zurich (Dr. sc. ETH), a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Bern and a Master of Arts (Magister Artium) in Policitical Science from the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. His research interests include labor demand, discrimination, job search,
unemployment, gender differences and wage inequality. His work has been published in leading academic journals such as Nature or the Journal of the European Economic Association. His position has a strong policy focus and entails policy advising and media work.
Daniel joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
