Samuel Young is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2023, he will join Arizona State University as an assistant professor of economics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from MIT in 2022. He is a labor economist interested in how labor market institutions such as regulations, policy interventions, and collective bargaining affect workers and firms.
He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in May 2023.
