Viola Asri is a Senior Researcher at the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen (Norway) and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz.
She is an applied microeconomist and her current projects focus on targeting of social transfers and women’s career choices in South Asia. Viola uses both experimental and quasi-experimental methods and most of her ongoing work is in collaboration with NGOs and government partners.
Viola’s research has been funded by the German Science Foundation through the Excellence Strategy, International Growth Centre, Swiss National Science Foundation, and the Thurgau Institute of Economics.
