Eleonora Patacchini is Professor of Economics in the department of Economics at Cornell University. She is also Research Fellow at the Center for Policy Research at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University (Syracuse, USA), at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (Rome, Italy), at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (Kiel, Germany) and at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London, UK). Her areas of interest include applied research in Labour Economics, Cultural Economics, Regional and Urban Economics, Social Networks, Economics of Ethnic Minorities and Crime. Her publications have appeared in leading general and field journals.



She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2007
