Benjamin Artz

Benjamin Artz is Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Professor Artz graduated with a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2008 and is a renowned scholar in the fields of Industrial Relations and Labor Economics. He has published in many academic journals such as Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Population Economics, Labour Economics, Economica and Education Finance and Policy. Professor Artz’s work has been cited in over 300 local and international media outlets and has earned a nomination as finalist for the international Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-family Research. His current research focuses on various topics in industrial relations and in particular on studies of subjective well-being and gender gaps in labor market outcomes.

Benjamin Artz joined IZA as a Research Fellow in June 2021.
