Ulrich Kaiser, born 1971 in Unna (Germany), is professor for Entrepreneurship at the University of Zurich and enjoys a secondary employment at Copenhagen Business School. He is also affiliated with the Centre for European Economic Research and is editor of Information Economics and Policy.

He conducts mainly empirical research in Innovation, Entrepreneurship Economics and Business Strategy.

His publication list includes (occasionally multiple) papers in Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Management Studies, Management Science, Strategic Management Journal and Research Policy.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2010.
