Cristina Tealdi is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK).
She received her PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2011, under the supervision of Prof. Mortensen (2010 Nobel Prize winner in Economics). She received a MA degree in Economics from Northwestern University in 2006 and a MA degree in Economics from Collegio Carlo Alberto (Italy) in 2005.
Her main research interests include labour economics and economics of migration. Specifically, her research activities focus on the theoretical (search and matching models) and empirical study of the economic effects of labour market reforms and the evaluation of the impact of policy interventions.

Cristina Tealdi joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2019.
