Martin Eckhoff Andresen is a tenure-track associate professor at the University of Oslo, previously a researcher at Statistics Norway.

His research interests includes labor economics, the economics of education, public economics and applied microeconometrics, and his research has covered diverse topics such as the effects of child care and parental leave policies, the impact of dropout in high school and the impacts of thin capitalization rules. His research also cover methodological issues such as formal tests for instrumental validity, and he regularly publishes software programs to aid in applied empirical work.

Martin Eckhoff Andresen joined as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
