Fabrizio Colella is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland and a Project Leader at the Rockwool Foundation Berlin, Germany.

Fabrizio studies the labor market impacts of technological changes, discrimination, and migration. He is particularly focused on understanding how companies shape labor demand, with a special emphasis on job advertisement analysis. His current research explores how economic shocks and discriminatory practices influence worker sorting and performance.

Before joining USI Lugano and RFBerlin, Fabrizio studied and worked at the University College London, the University of Lausanne, UC Berkeley, and Bocconi University.
