Nicolai Kristensen is professor at VIVE - The Danish Centre for Applied Social Science, located in Copenhagen. He was profgessor MSO at KORA, and before that senior research fellow and programme director at AKF and KORA (now merged into VIVE). He holds a phd degree from Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University and has been visiting phd student at University of Maryland and Concordia University. Nicolai has worked on a variety of topics in economics, including returns to training, use of subjective data in economics, structural dynamic programming of discrete choice models with applications to residential sorting, education and labor.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in September 2009.
