Research Interests

Jean-Olivier Hairault is Professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and at the Paris School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. in economics at Paris I in 1993. He is a researcher at CES (Paris 1).

His current research fields are the evaluation of labor market policy and the analysis of retirement decisions. His research interests also include international and monetary macroeconomics. Among other journals, he has published in Economic Journal, European Economic Journal, International Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of European Economic Association, Journal of Public Economics and Review of Economic Dynamics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in July 2004.
