Jan Rose Skaksen

Jan Rose Skaksen is Professor in International Economics at the Copenhagen Business School. He was previously Professor in Economics at the University of Southern Denmark. He is also a research fellow at CEBR. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. Until august, 2000, he was associate professor at the department of economics, University of Aarhus. His main research interests are within the areas of labor economics and international economics. Current research interests include the potential labor market implications of globalization. His recent work covers labor market implications of product market integration, foreign direct investments, international outsourcing and immigration. His publications include articles in European Economic Review, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Public Economics and Scandinavian Journal of Economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2001.
