Klara Kaliskova

Prague University of Economics and Business

Klara is an Assistant Professor at Prague University of Economics and Business, researcher of the IDEA think tank at CERGE-EI Prague, and Associated Scientist at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She has a PhD from CERGE-EI, Prague. During her studies she stayed at University College London as a visiting scholar.

Klára’s research interests include empirical and policy-oriented research in the fields of labor economics and public finance. Within these fields, she currently studies effects of family policies on maternal employment and unemployment and child outcomes, impact of the covid-19 pandemics on the flexible working arrangements and firm outcomes, and the reasons for non-take-up of social benefits.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2014 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
