Andreas Lichter is Professor of International Economics at TU Dortmund. Before joining TU Dortmund, Andreas worked as Assistant Professor for Applied Microeconomics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf from 2018 to 2024. He received his doctorate from the University of Cologne in 2016 and worked as Post Doc at IZA-Institute of Labor Economics before joining Düsseldorf.

Andreas’ research focuses on policy-relevant questions at the intersection of urban, labor, international and public economics.
