Olle Hammar is an assistant professor in economics at Linnaeus University and researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm.

He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from Uppsala University in 2021. Between 2021 and 2023, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN). He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University.

His research focuses on topics related to inequality, migration, and culture.

Olle Hammar joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
