Birgitta Rabe

Birgitta Rabe is an economist at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex.

She is interested in human capital development, specifically the role of parental and public investments into children and how these investments interact. Her research includes early child development; education and schools; child care and maternal labour supply; migration and residential mobility. Birgitta is co-investigator of the UK Household Longitudinal Survey.

Birgitta joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2017.
