Rachel Croson is Dean of the College of Business, University of Texas at Arlington. She received her PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 1994. After spending 13 years at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, she moved to the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007. She held a joint appointment as a Professor in the Department of Economics and the School of Management, and served as the Director of The Negotiation Center. Dr. Croson’s research focuses on experimental and behavioral economics, including bargaining and negotiation, voluntary contribution to public goods and charitable giving, risk-taking and behavioral finance.
She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2012.
