Kelly Bedard

Kelly Bedard received her PhD from Queen’s University in 1996.

She is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

She has published research on various aspects of labour economics, including human capital formation, health behavior, family issues, and peer effects.

Bedard is an associate editor for the Journal of Labor Economics and a research associate in the Broom Center for Demography.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2016.
