Mahima is a postdoctoral scholar at the Laboratory for Effective Anti-Poverty Policies, Bocconi University. She obtained her Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine in 2023. She is interested in the fields of Labor, Development and Public Economics with a focus on gender, identity, and human capital accumulation. Her current work aims to understand the factors that shape women’s economic and social outcomes, and the criminal justice systems in developing countries.
