Erina Ytsma is an Assistant Professor at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, Research Affiliate at MIT Sloan, CMU Block Center for Technology and Society Affiliate and CESifo Research Network Affiliate. She holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and served as World Economic Forum GFC Fellow on the New Agenda for Work, Wages and Job Creation Council from October 2020 till July 2022.
Erina’s research focuses on the organization of work in the digital economy and knowledge economy. Within these areas, she studies the design of incentive systems and topics related to the organization of work in space and time, covering subjects such as search and matching, task assignment, time use, team structure, spillovers and learning.
