David Jaume is a Manager at the Bank of Mexico. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, a Master's in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina), and a BA in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina). David’s research focuses on labor economics, the economics of education, and the intersection of economic development and finance in low and middle-income countries. His work has been published in journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Labor Economics, the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, and the Journal of Development Economics. He is one of the authors of the book 'Growth, Employment, and Poverty in Latin America,' published by Oxford University Press, and has collaborated on several research projects with international organizations such as the World Bank, UNU-WIDER, and CEPAL.
