Lars Meierwisch studied Law at the University of Bielefeld. After serving in the German Armed Forces and an assignment for the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Zambia, he studied politics, psychology, and history at the University of Bonn. As a freelancer, he regularly worked for the German Federal Government and other public authorities in civic education and political communication.
He joined IZA as a Student Assistant in 2014. In 2018 he moved on to join IZA full-time, where he is responsible for the conception and design of publications.
