Antonella Bancalari is a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, London, UK. She earned her PhD at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2020.
She is an applied microeconomist with a research focus on public service delivery in low- and middle-income countries. Her current projects look at the financing and political economy of public services, and the impact of public expenditures on local labour markets. She is also exploring ways to induce people to adopt welfare-improving technologies and behaviours.
Antonella Bancalari joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in September 2022.
