Susan Pozo is Professor of Economics, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan USA. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University in 1980. Her research interests include international human capital, undocumented migration, the determinants and impacts of immigrants' remittances, asset accumulation and uncertainty, foreign exchange rates and migration. Her research has been funded by the United Nations, the Inter-American Development Bank, the National Institutes of Health, the Fulbright Foundation and the BBVA.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2014.
